For this assignment, I selected an existing media platform and set out to completely redesign its website with the goal of enhancing both usability and visual appeal—while staying true to the core of the brand’s identity. This project challenged me to think critically about how users interact with digital content and how thoughtful design can improve that experience.
I worked through each phase of the design process, beginning with user research and mind mapping to define the user flow and identify potential pain points. From there, I created wireframes to explore layout options, iterated through multiple rounds of comps to fine-tune visual hierarchy, and developed final high-fidelity designs that brought the brand to life in a modern, dynamic way.
The final design features a fully reimagined homepage, a streamlined category page, an article page optimized for readability, and a customizable homepage that adapts to individual user preferences. To support user engagement, I also designed a complete sign-in and sign-up experience, including interactive error states for better feedback, a confirmation email layout, and a personalization page to help users tailor content to their interests. Each element was created with accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency in mind—resulting in a polished digital experience that feels both familiar and fresh.
