In this assignment, I was tasked with designing a responsive event website for AIGA’s San Francisco conference, Design for Tomorrow. Inspired by the theme of “tomorrow,” I chose the colors of a sunrise as the foundation for my visual language—challenging myself to work with a vibrant pink-to-yellow gradient that represents possibility, creativity, and forward-thinking design.
Starting with the logo and carrying that energy into the full website layout, I aimed to create a design that feels both clean and engaging. The interface strikes a balance between professionalism and fun, using bold typography, thoughtful spacing, and motion-driven interactions to draw users in.
The site is fully interactive, featuring hover-triggered content changes, toggle-based information panels, a live countdown to the event, and a carousel of sponsors to highlight key partners. Altogether, the experience is crafted to not only inform but excite—mirroring the spirit of innovation at the heart of the conference.
